Also, I went to NYC today ^^ There's this one bookstore near Bryant Park called Kinokuniya. I love it there so much. They have all the Hetalia books! *fanspaz* I'mma go pretend I can read Japanese now

Also also, Kyotofu is wooooooonderful. Especially their miso brownies. If you ever go to NYC GO THERE! It's totally worth the cost. It's at 705 on 9th.

I noticed there were some Secret Santa Exchanges for other pairings, but my OTP was yet to post one, so I'm here to correct that.

Please read the following entry carefully before signing up. After (though it is not required) spreading the word of this exchange would be most appreciated 'cuz the world cannot have enough RoChu



What is a Secret Santa Exchange?

A Secret Santa Exchange is basically an exchange of fanworks. You'll do one fanwork in exchange for one for yourself.

How does it work?

Everyone who participates is required to fill out a form; sign ups are open until November 8, 2009 at 12:00 AM (USA eastern time), and when sign ups are closed everyone will be assigned to someone within a few days.

When do I post?

Posting begins on December 25, 2009 and ends January 6, 2010. So if you don't finish by Christmas day exactly, you still have a bit of time. Though it is always best to finish it before posting date.

Where can I post it?

Post to [info]russiaxchina first, but after that go crazy and post to any other RoChu comms, the main Hetalia comm, and any other applicable comms as well.

What fanworks can I do?

You can do either: fanart, fancomics or fanfics.

What are the requirements?

Well it has to be RoChu that is pretty much the only general requirement. It doesn't have to be romantic, they can just be the best of buds if you so desire, but I get the feeling more people than not want to read about them on a romantic level. You can also definitely hint towards or make heavy allusions to other pairings, but RoChu has to be the focal point.

Fanart/ Fancomics: Clean work. Nothing sketchy. It can be done in any medium you want. Please submit in the highest resolution possible as well. You can image host on tinypic and imageshack and they won't automatically resize your big pics. Plus you don't need to log in!!! XDDDDDD

Fanfics: Minimum of 1000 words. No drabbles. There is no maximum word count make it as long as you want. Please make sure to proof read your work, hand it off to your beta, etc. You're writing this for someone else so you want to be nicely written out, so they can enjoy the fic to the max.

Also keep in mind if you are making a specific request, something another person might not be familiar with or want historical references, that you should give some links that the author can use to brush up on some knowledge to write you an awesome fic or draw you something spiffy.

What if it gets to be too much?

You can always drop out if need be. I know we all have lives and can't write RoChu as much as we want to, so I completely understand if you need to drop out. Please just let me know as soon as you encounter problems. RoChu is a smaller community compared to the other shipping fandoms, so we want to give the authors, who are willing to pick up some slack, as much time as possible.
